Brief & Context
A warm, outward-looking atmosphere defines this corner penthouse in North Sydney, positioned to engage directly with a large adjoining park. The alterations and additions extend the apartment toward the corner terrace, shifting the home’s focus outward while reinforcing a sense of privacy and calm within a high-end urban setting.

Challenge & Intent
The project responds to constrained internal space, limited storage, and undersized living areas that no longer supported long-term, age-in-place living. The design intent centred on expanding the primary living zones, increasing storage capacity, and improving separation from the entry door, ensuring the apartment could evolve with changing needs without compromising its premium character.

Lifestyle & Experience
The extension rebalances the internal layout by enlarging the main living areas and strengthening the connection to the terrace and park beyond. Storage is carefully integrated to reduce visual clutter and support daily routines, while entry privacy is improved to create a clearer transition from shared circulation to private living. Together, these adjustments produce a more generous, secure, and adaptable home suited to long-term occupation.
