Situated in the Ashbury Heritage Conservation area, this house involves alterations and additions to a historic Californian Bungalow to better accommodate the needs of the family.

The aim of the design was to respect the character of the the heritage area by sensitively setting back the new volume, finished subtly with charred timber weatherboards, as well as introduce a sense of generosity within a nimble footprint.
