This suite of twelve townhouses on the southern end of Lake Illawarra utilised our expertise in CLT to create a community of affordable, well designed homes.

Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) is a material that has proven extremely popular in European architecture. CLT has the advantages of being one of the fastest ways to build your home in a high quality and ecologically sustainable manner.

These townhouses were also designed for adaptability, being able to transform easily into a home suitable and safe to use for occupants with a disability, ageing Australians, people with temporary injuries and families with young children.

Our Lab has responsible for the feasibility study of this property and the provision of expert advice regarding the construction of CLT.
